The new Rowan's Law provincial legislation came into effect on July 1, 2019. The ETOBICOKE SWIM CLUB requires that athletes under 26 years of age, as well as the parent (for athletes under 18) confirm that they have reviewed the concussion awareness resources provided by the Government of Ontario.

The ETOBICOKE SWIM CLUB is required to collect a signed confirmation from each swimmer and their parent acknowledging that Rowans Law Awareness Resources have been reviewed prior to registering swimmers. The ETOBICOKE SWIM CLUB, as well as all Ontario Swim Clubs, will be required to submit a declaration to Swim Ontario confirming that we have collected signed documents and have reviewed Rowans Law Concussion Awareness Resources. Your registration CANNOT be processed until this has been done.
