Introduction to Competitive Swimming Program

For swimmers 5 to 9 years old

Our Intro to Competitive program promotes a sense of belonging and achievement through cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in a supportive team program. It offers a chance for your child to improve technique in all four competitive strokes with individual attention from highly qualified coaches, gain endurance & strength, and have fun with swimming! Our ESWIM coaches focus on fun methods to teach safety and proper technique. Our skill progression structure sets students up for success and establishes a strong foundation while instilling a love of swimming in a positive and supportive environment. We use positive relationships as the foundation for learning, fostering teamwork, comradery, and personal growth to nurture the full potential of every swimmer.

Assessments will be held at the Etobicoke Olympium. Every new swimmer must go through an assessment to determine:

  • Is the swimmer ready for the program?
  • What level does the swimmer match?
  • Is there room in the level?
