Brian swam for the Etobicoke Swim Club from 1992 to 2004, starting with the Intro program at the age of 6. His highest achievement as a swimmer was qualifying for Eastern Canadian Championships in the 400 free during his final season with the team. Brian coached Intro at ESWIM for one season after retiring as a swimmer, then attended Humber College to study Radio Broadcasting and has been working in the industry since graduating.
Over the last few years, Brian has rediscovered his passion for swimming. In 2014, he was a member of the Lake Ontario Swim Team, and he is currently a member of the Etobicoke Olympium Masters Aquatics Club. Brian also coached Special Olympics swimmers with the West Toronto Barracudas during the 2014-2015 season, which fuelled his desire to get on deck full-time and give back to the swimming community.
Brian is excited to continue his coaching career with the team that he grew up with, and looking forward to lots of success with his swimmers in Provincial and Junior A this season.
